Seniors need to be saved by 11/24! RESCUE GROUPS ONLY!

RESCUE GROUPS! These sweet seniors are out of time at the Humane Society of Utah. They are not being released to the general public, they are ONLY available to rescue groups. Please call Jessica 801-506-2415 ASAP. They need to be out by NOV 24th otherwise they will be destroyed!

DUE OUT 11/24/10. Chico is a 4 year old neutered blue & tan Chihuahua.  He is the first blue
Chi I’ve seen WITHOUT a skin condition!  :)   However, he is very scared
here, especially of men.  When our female staff opens his cage, he dives
into your arms.  When it’s a man, he cowers & hides in the corner.  Due to
the risk of biting a male customer who moves too quickly, we don’t feel we
can safely put him in our adoptions small dog room.  We do have several male
staff members who have made friends with him once out of the cage.  He is
housebroken & good with other dogs, he has not been around kids or cats.

DUE OUT 11/24/10. Bianca is a 13 year old spayed Chihuahua mix.
She was surrendered because the landlord wouldn’t allow her.  She has rotten
teeth & possible glaucoma.  Our vet did note that her heart sounds good.
She is housebroken, good with dogs & kids.  She has not been exposed to
cats.  Due to her age, we are unable to hold her beyond the 24th, unless a
rescue can commit to taking her.  If a rescue placment is found, but a few
days are needed for pick up/transport, that is fine.  We just don’t want to
hold her longer than that, if euthanasia is going to be the outcome.

DUE OUT 11/24/10.  Roscoe is an 11 year old neutered Shih
Tzu/Miniature Poodle mix.  He was surrendered because the family had too
many dogs where they lived.  He is missing his right eye & has possible
immature glaucoma in his left.  He is housebroken, good with dogs & kids.
He has not been exposed to cats.  Due to his age, we are unable to hold him
beyond the 24th, unless a rescue can commit to taking him.  If a rescue
placment is found, but a few days are needed for pick up/transport, that is
fine.  We just don’t want to hold him longer than that, if euthanasia is
going to be the outcome.

If you are a RESCUE GROUP & can take these sweet dogs, please call Jessica at the Humane Society of Utah 801-506-2415 ASAP!
