Cause for Paws Utah is in need of volunteers!
CFPU is more than just a rescue, we are a Utah based network dedicated to saving animals on death row. We are the fastest growing group of its kind.
As a legally recognized 501(c) 3 you will have the opportunity to learn about the daily functions of a nonprofit. See first hand the difference you can make in the community and how lives are saved. There are several types of volunteer opportunities available.
Be a part of maintaining Utah’s best and only social network dedicated to saving animals in danger of being euthanized. This means updating facebook and twitter with information and photos of animals in need. Do something for the animals while you use your computer at home!
Working with the whole state means we often move animals around to buy them time or take them permanently out of harms way. If you have a vehicle and a flexible schedule we can provide crates and all the necessary training. This is an integral part of the program, if we cannot transport them away from danger we cannot save them.
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help at events. We host and are a part of several adoption and fundraising events throughout the year. This is your chance to spend a little time with the animals and help educate people about the group. Our annual fundraiser is October 15th and we will need plenty of volunteers to help host our Howl-O-Ween benefit. You must be 21 to volunteer at this event. If you are not 21 we have plenty of other opportunities available.
If you’d like to make a real impact on homeless animals, consider becoming a foster family. The foster home is a necessary spoke in the animal rescue wheel – without them, no movement can occur. The ability to provide a temporary home to a dog in need is an immensely rewarding experience. CFPU provides you with the necessary training and items such as crates, leashes, food, and of course vet visits. If you are an approved foster home, we only request that you help us transport the dogs to adoption events and the occasional vet visit. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an application.
